Welcome to Surrey K9 Academy, a training service for puppies and dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments.
I bring 20 years practical experience training Working dogs for active roles in the Security Service industry as well as the theoretical side having completed my Masters Degree in Canine behaviour.
I have also gained vast experience competing in Working Dog Trials for many, many years in both the UK and Europe while being titled NASDU British Trials Champion in 2018. I have actively titled dogs in IPO/IGP (a demanding dog sport consisting of Tracking, Obedience and Protection) both at home and in Europe.
At Surrey K9 Academy, I give the owner/handler the skills, knowledge and understanding learnt with me to ensure a happy and confident companion by your side.
The aim is to provide top quality dog training, behaviour modification and solutions for both Pet dogs and Service dogs.
How I train
All Training and techniques utilise a modern, proactive and reward-based system. My own training techniques developed from hundreds and hundreds of hours of training dogs for active Service roles and the theoretical side from Undergraduate and Postgraduate study of Canine behaviour.
All dogs are welcome at Surrey K9 Academy, whether big, small or anything in between, friendly or not so friendly absolutely catered for.
I utilise my practical experience of twenty years and theoretical knowledge to understand the dogs behaviour and come up with the best solution to meet each individual dogs requirements.
Many years ago i started to see a real need for help and training from pet owners struggling with everyday issues. Pet owners want a happy, healthy and content companion, so I have now made a venture on my own with my own training company - Surrey K9 Academy.
I provide real solutions to help dog owners to have a happy dog by their side that can be taken into any situation or environment with confidence.
Obedience specialist for all levels, from Beginner to Advanced Competition Obedience.
Behaviour modification for adult dogs and puppies, no problems that can't be rectified.
